Redesigned an abandoned 32,000 square foot hotel in Historical Downtown Covington into a modern boutique hotel. Hotel design comprised with a coffee shop, fitness center, salon, full service spa, ballroom, and courtyard. Researched five topics of commercial design and produced the project into floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, material selections, and three-dimensional renderings. Produced wayfinding models and a book of the design process.
Hotel Redesign Project- Baton Rouge, LA
August 2012- December 2012
Completed a hospitality design with regard to research, development of a concept, space-planning, material and furniture selection. Developed a solution to the client’s needs, with inspiration drawn from the interworking structure of a watch. Completed a set of floor plans, elevations, and renderings in Revit Architecture. Awarded a scholarship from renowned Interior Designer, Kenneth Brown for Project Excellence.
Office Design
Next Commercial Office- Austin, TX
August 2013- December 2013
Designed an 8,000 square foot open office concept for NEXT, a “Think Tank” organization in Austin, Texas. Produced concept, floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, specifications, and three-dimensional computer renderings. Created the firm’s logo and branding.
